Mayhem on the Interurban

A Dark Story

Mayhem on the Interurban features the disasters and crimes that happened on Texas' interurban systems. The history of the Texas Electric Railway is riddled with stories about head-on train crashes, car/train accidents, and deadly mistakes by locals with little respect for the trains and the electricity that powered them.

Features

In addition to wall panels, this exhibit will feature artifacts from the Johnnie J. Myers Collections and items on loan to us from the Plano Police Department.

Comimg in October to our Outdoor Exhibit space!

This exhibit will be on display outside the Interurban Railway Museum in Downtown Plano!
